Summer Camps

Kaleidoscope Camp

Kaleidoscope Camp is a "safe, fun, and Christ-centered" camp at Williamsburg Christian Retreat Center.

Amy Duncan has been a counselor at camp this whole summer, and loves it!  Rebecca Benson, Caleb and Emily Graber, and Megan Gonzalez spent a week at camp this summer, and loved it!  Rebecca, Emily, and Megan enjoyed having Amy as their counselor!

Choral Camp

Choral Camp is an amazing, fun Christian music camp held at Rosedale Bible College in Irwin, Ohio.

Tommy Dove, Leah Schaefer, and Kayley Kennell spent two weeks as Choral Camp counselors from July 5-17.  Emily Hertzler went for the second time as a camper. Camp was filled with fun, fellowship, and growing in God, (and also lack of sleep for the counselors!)

Davina Lancaster writes to tell us about the camps Ellie and Layne have enjoyed this summer:

Ellie went to Engineering Camp at Powhatan Junior High School.  The camp was held July 13th-17th.  Her favorite part was the convention that was held on Friday. It was her favorite, because different Engineers from around the area came and spoke with them about different types of engineering.  She would like to be a Civil Engineer.

Layne went to Forestry Camp at Holiday Lake State Park.  The camp was held June 15th-20th.  Layne's favorite part of the camp was climbing trees with ropes and pulleys. Layne won a scholarship from the Monacan Soil and Water Conservation District. Students had to be nominated by teachers and then accepted by the camp before they could attend.
