The Spiritual Leadership Team

The Leadership Team has been very busy over the last months helping to implement the new structure. We continue to pray and listen to the Lord as we face the challenges ahead of us.

In order to have more visibility and contact with the congregation, we have begun the process of splitting the congregation into fourths. Each elder will be responsible for periodically contacting their assigned people to see how they are doing and listen to any concerns.

As a team we are still in the process of finalizing our responsibilities. We are just in the beginning stages of identifying the vision that God has for our fellowship. We will be praying and processing that through Team Leaders and their teams.

Each elder term consists of four years. An elder is eligible to serve two consecutive terms and then must be off for a year before serving again.

As you can see, some of the elder’s terms have already run out while others will end shortly. Because these elders have been involved in the large amount of changes that we have gone through, we have been on hold. After we get settled a little, the Pastor/Elder Selection Team will begin to function and search for new elders. (The Pastor/Elder Selection Team consists of: the Pastor, Head Elder, District Overseer, Missions Team Leader, Worship Team Leader, Women’s Ministry Team Leader.)

Please pray for our team that we would discern God’s direction and exemplify godly living in our own lives, marriages and relationships.

Most importantly, pray that we, the SLT would daily abide in Christ.
