Silver Ring Thing…. Update on Casey Walton

 Here is a little update on what I am doing.

                  I am currently working with Silver Ring Thing, national organization that exists to share God’s truth of sexual purity while also presenting the life-changing message of the Gospel. I am the Production Director for the South Carolina Hub (there are five hubs in the US and one in South Africa). We present this message through putting on high tech shows with lights, drama, speakers, and vivid illustrations that present our message in a way that today’s teenager can understand. While we are a sexual abstinence program, our number one goal is to see students come to Christ, because we know that it is pointless to try and live a pure life apart from Christ. One of the unique aspects of our program is our follow-up program, for the following four months after an event we are sending out two e-mails a week to each participant to help them stay strong and understand their commitment. We also have a separate follow-up program for those who accepted Christ during an event, the parents, and the youth workers. Over the past ten years 56,000 students have put on a ring and made the pledge to remain sexually abstinent until marriage. Update from the Shultz Family

 Regina  Shultz writes…

              " Hannah and Jeremiah have a week and a half off from school that began May 11.  They were at PROMESA helping in the different classrooms Thursday and had a great time.  Jeremiah went back the next day.  I will probably take them with me  May 17 for a trip to Paruro to plan for a medical clinic that will be happening the end of May and the first week of June.
          The presidential elections for the final round are set for Sunday,  June 4th."
