Obituaries Burkholder We extend our sympathy to Lewis Burkholder on the passing of his brother, James Dennis Burkholder, born October 24, 1914, died October 20, 2001. He was a lifetime member of Warwick River Mennonite Church, where a memorial service was held on October 24, 2001. Lehman We extend our sympathy to Ivan Lehman on the passing of his father, Aldus M. Lehman, 74, of Chambersburg, PA, on October 11, 2001. He was killed by his own pickup truck when it pinned him under it as he was watering a raspberry plant. He is survived by seven children: Ivan, Merle, Allen, Ralph, Kevin, Eldon and Elta (Brouse) and fifteen grandchildren. Mr. Lehman was instrumental in starting the Shady Pine Mennonite Church in the early 1950s. He was a lifelong farmer and formerly the pastor of Pleasant View Mennonite Church for fifteen years. The funeral and interment were at the Pleasant View Mennonite Church. Yoder Gideon I. Yoder of Amelia, born April 10, 1921, in Springs, PA, died peacefully at Mountain View Nursing Home on October 3, 2001. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth (Miller) Yoder and seven sons and two daughters: Allen, Alvin, Lydia, Ivan, Jerry, Paul, Raymond, Esther (Clark) and James, 35 grandchildren and 43 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by two daughters, Edna and Betty (Myers). Funeral and interment were held Saturday, October 6, at the Powhatan Mennonite Church.
