From the Pastor’s
Heart…
Reading through Joshua, I was struck by this verse about him, “He
left nothing undone of all that the Lord had commanded Moses.” Joshua left
nothing undone. What does that mean?
It means that Joshua was faithful to fulfill all that God had asked Him to do
through Moses. He left nothing undone. I read that and I felt like I had a dozen
things undone. I really don’t need
some new knowledge or revelation. I
just need to do what is before me and as the saying goes, “git-r-done”. Procrastination will probably always be a tendency of mine, but
when it comes to godly obedience my prayer is that I would be faithful to be
timelier in doing the things I should do. Could
it be that procrastination in one’s spiritual life is apathy, rebellion, or
what? It probably is sin and I confess it as such. Joshua left nothing undone,
it’s my prayer as well. Your pastor, Tim. |
