Non-Resistance Series

What Do We As Mennonites Believe?

November 8: Louie Burkholder

"Why Do Men Fight? Making Peace with God"

November 22: Wally Schaefer

"What Does Church History Say About War and Peace?"

December 13: Glen Landis

"What Christ Teaches About Non-resistance"

Young and old, junior youth and youth are encourage to attend the Wednesday evening series as we look at the nonresistance stance from our Mennonite history and perspective.

We believe that Jesus Christ is our peace, and in him the foundation for a new creation has been laid.

Through his death and resurrection,

he has reconciled us to God and given the church the ministry of

reconciliation in the world. Led by the Holy Spirit,

we follow Christ in the way of peace, doing justice, and

practicing nonresistance in the face of violence and warfare.
