And she gave birth to her firstborn, a son.  She wrapped Him in swaddling clothes and laid Him in a manger, because there was no room for them at the inn."  Luke 2:7

Praise be to God for his unspeakable gift...

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

John 3:16

A Bit About the History....

For years I had dreamed of having a live nativity to share with the community the marvelous story of the birth of Jesus Christ.  But we just didn't have the right place to host it.  When we built the horse stable in 1993,  I spied an opportunity and had some adjustments made to the  barn  to accommodate my ideas,  and  the dream became a reality.  With the help of a friend, Janet Benson, we put together the first event,  and it was a huge success.  Each year I have worked at adding props and script and improving lighting and sound.  My desire has been to keep the nativity simple and as Biblically accurate as possible.

The pre-recorded script comes straight from Biblical narrative and is intertwined with Christmas carols to tell the story.  The account starts with the angel's prophetic appearance to Mary and then Joseph,  informing them of the birth of Jesus and ends with the majestic visit of wise men to the home of the young child,  Jesus.
