God Shone His Grace

by Jolene Marie Hunsberger Schlosser

Easter 2000

God shone His grace

Upon my face

When He gave me a place

In the loving arms of a godly mother and father

So I could learn to love Him.

God shone His grace

Upon my face

When He surrounded me

With precious family and friends

Who pointed to the Way

So I could learn to follow Him.

God shone His grace

Upon my face

When in my heart He wrought His Word

So I could learn to commune with Him.

God shone His grace

Upon my face

When He placed a song in my soul

So I could learn to praise Him.

God shone His grace

Upon my face

When He provided a

Man of God for my husband

So I could learn to honor Him.

God shone His grace

Upon my face

When He took our dear

Tiny unnamed one back to Himself

So I could learn to trust Him.

God shone His grace

Upon my face

When He blessed me with three

Rambunctious healthy children

So I could learn to thank Him.

God shone His grace

Upon my face

When He gave His church

As a picture of Himself

So I could learn to worship Him.

God shone His grace

His Ultimate Glorious Grace

Upon my undeserving face

When He sent His only begotten Son

Full of Grace and Truth

To die in my stead

That I might live eternally.

God surely has shone

His Infinite Marvelous Grace

Upon my face,

My undeserving face.

Sixth annual

       Golf Classic Tournament

Williamsburg Christian Retreat Center (WCRC) is pleased to announce that its sixth annual WCRC GOLF CLASSIC will be held at Williamsburg Country Club. This is a great opportunity to golf at this private course and at the same time raise dollars for WCRC’s youth ministry.

This is an exciting year for WCRC. The Board of Directors is in the final stages of approving the plans for a new youth facility to be located on the western, wooded portion of its land. Along with the facilities expansion we are growing our youth program. This year’s summer program will include new staff led by Randy Coblentz, WCRS’s new Program Director, as well as new program opportunities including a week-long camp for deaf children, a bicycle excursion, a backpack trip, and a canoe adventure.

Spread the word....... tell those who you know love golf about this tournament. Thanks for your support!

The sixth annual Williamsburg Christian Retreat Center GOLF CLASSIC

will be held Tuesday, May 16, 2000, 1:00 P.M.

at Williamsburg Country Club in Williamsburg, Virginia

Registration forms are due by May 5. Call 757-566-2256 for a brochure (There is also one on the bulletin board).
