Worship

Scripture

Oh come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the Lord our Maker.   Psalms 95: 6

Exalt the Lord our God, and worship at His footstool-He is holy.  Psalms 99:5

Because your loving kindness is better than life, my lips shall praise You.  Thus I will bless You while I live; I will lift up my hands in Your name.  Psalms 63:3-4

Give unto the Lord, O mighty ones, give unto the Lord glory and strength.  Give unto the Lord the glory due to His name.  Worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness.  Psalms 29: 2

I will sing to the Lord as long as I live; I will sing praise to my God while I have my being.  May my meditation be sweet to Him; I will be glad in the Lord.  Psalms 104:33-34

“For where two or  three are gathered in My name, I am there in the midst of them.”  JESUS in Matthew 18:20

“But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshippers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him.  God is Spirit, and those who worship must worship in spirit and truth.”    JESUS in John 4: 23

You are worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power; for You created all things and by Your will they exist and were created.  Revelations 4: 10

Think on these things!

 Definition of Worship

*Worship: to bow, to stoop; to bow down before someone as an act of submission or reverence. The primary meaning is “to make one low.”  Exalt the Lord (lift Him up high and worship); bow yourself down low before Him at the place of His feet.

* Taken from Word Wealth at Psalms 99: 5 in Spirit Filled Life Bible-NKJ.
