Graduations

Some families like to do things in big ways, and that seems to be the case with the Walton family this spring. Graduation day is a big event for the person graduating. There are diplomas, programs, achievements, pictures and parties. The Waltons have four children, and all four graduate this spring! By some stroke of fate, the three girls are graduating on the same day —May 13th—from three separate colleges, and miles apart!

Kelley graduates from Liberty University in Lynchburg. She is the oldest of the four Walton siblings and took one year of Bible College in New York before attending Liberty. Since the Walton family attended her Bible College graduation she will have to settle for her soon-to-be in-laws as her graduation supporters. Kelley majored in Elementary and Special Education.

Courtnie is graduating from a four-year college program at Gardner-Webb University in Boiling Springs, North Carolina with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and a minor in Communications. Brenda and Casey will be attending her graduation ceremony. Courtnie plans to be home this summer and job hunt!

Candace decided to take summer school and get college over with in three years!! She is graduating from Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, VA, with a degree in Business Management. Dickie and Brandon Yoder will be attending her graduation. Candace will be looking for a job this summer and also plans to take some classes from Tech over the internet.

Casey graduates from Richmond Christian High School on June 2 at 7:00 P.M. All are invited. Casey will be attending Columbia International University in Columbia, South Carolina, this fall.

So to the Waltons.........A BIG CONGRATULATIONS!!!! None of us will try to top your big day!
