Beth Brenneman and Rusty

in marriage September 4, 2004, at Mt.
Pisgah Baptist Church, Rice, VA. After
a wedding trip to Montana, the couple will be residing in the tenant house
on the Brenneman farm. Rusty
and Beth will be attending Oak Hill Mennonite Church in Cumberland. Beth
is the daughter of Paul and Helen Brenneman, Burkeville, VA
and Rusty is the son of Michael and Joy Yoder, Farmville, VA.

Emily Urso and Daniel Farmer were united in marriage June 26, 2004 in South
Carolina.
The
bride is the daughter of Thomas and Grace Urso and the groom is the son of
Mike Farmer and Evelyn Farmer.
Emily
is employed at Roper Ford car dealership and Daniel is a car mechanic at Mike
Johnson Automotive.

Christinna Grace Urso and Brian Arthur Coss were united in marriage August 14, 2004 at the
Oak Hill Mennonite Church in Cumberland.
The
bride is the daughter of Thomas and Grace Urso and the groom is the son of Brian
Coss and Jill Coss.
Christy
is employed at Liberty University as a secretary and at LCA School in an after
care program. Brian is employed as a
salesman at US Cellular.

Engaged
Brenda White and Daniel Grice have announced their engagement.
Brenda is the daughter of Alice White of Powhatan and is working in a
daycare in Kentucky. Daniel is from Manassas and is stationed in Kentucky during
his military training.
A wedding date has not been set.

and Melody Althouse announce
the birth of their first child, Erin Elizabeth, born August 19, 2004 at
5:41 PM. Erin weighed 7 lbs.
12.7 ozs. Paternal
grandparents are Dan and Linda Althouse of Merretta, PA.
The Althouse family were an active part of our church family during
the 70’s and 80’s. Tim

Obituary
Edna J. Sexton
Edna
Sexton went home to be with the Lord on August 25, 2004.
She is survived by two sons, J. Wayne and Donnie Lancaster, both of
Powhatan and one daughter, Jo Ann Arnette of Hanover.
Annette Arrington & Joe Lancaster are a part of her 11 grandchildren.
Obie, Ross, & Cory Arrington and Layne & Ellie Lancaster are a
part of her 16 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson.
Funeral
services were held at the Bennett-Barden Funeral Home with interment in the
Powhatan Community Cemetery.

Spiller with the help of his daddy caught a huge 7 lb, 24” long citation bass.
They are getting it mounted.
