Congregational Life...

Living beyond yourself

Living Beyond Yourself,” a study on the fruit of the Spirit by Beth Moore, will be our next ladies Bible study.  The study will run for ten consecutive weeks, beginning the first week in March.  We will be watching a video with a workbook for homework.

The evening study will be led by Pat Hertzler on Tuesdays at 7:00 PM, and the day study will be on Wednesday mornings at 9:45 AM and led by Carolyn Nowlin.

Baby sitting will be provided during the morning sessions.  If you are interested please let Pat (598-4021) or Carolyn (598-7289) know by February 17.  The workbooks cost $14.95.

This is a good opportunity to invite a friend or neighbor.

6:00 PM

After the program a light, snack supper will be served, and at 8:00 PM we will watch the “Extreme Makeover” show featuring the Farmville home that quite a few in our congregation helped build.

Their hope is to lead people to a closer walk with God through music and to become passionate about Jesus.

Philip, Micah, Melanie and Dietrich grew up as best friends.  The Rhodes and Heatwole families were friends and both attend Dayton Mennonite Church in the Dayton area.  Seven years ago Three N One began singing special music at their  church and have since  sung in churches, coffee shops, youth rallies and prison crusades.  They sing a variety of music: gospel, worship and accapella.  Their hope is to lead people in a closer walk with God through music .  They also want to help people become passionate about Jesus.
