Christian Motorcycle
Association
It is interesting the paths God leads us down when He is preparing us for
the ministry He wants us to accomplish. The motorcycle path is not a
traditional one, but it is, nonetheless, one that God uses to reach others
through His children who share that interest yet have a Christian
perspective.
That calling has inspired the
creation of a motorcycle ride group to draw new Christian motorcyclists into a
ministry where their other diverse interests can
be used to reach the lost for Christ. This ride group is based in
Powhatan and aims to pull in riders from the surrounding areas. The group
held its first meeting in April, and sixteen people attended. It is
refreshing that most of the attendees profess to be Christians and are
interested in the primary goal of the group - to minister to the lost and be
God's instrument in delivering the Gospel message.
Frank and
Debbie Vaughn and George and Dale Mitchell have developed a bond during their
ministry at Elk Hill School for Boys that led to this opportunity to form a
Christian motorcyclists' ride group. Our
hope and prayer is that this will grow and become fully organized
under a Christian motorcyclists' chapter of an internationally recognized
ministry.

as the ministry grows.
