Israel Trip: Gene and Leah Schaefer leave Saturday to join Meghan in Israel to work in the grape harvest.  Pray for their safety, ministry, and witness as they travel.

Wedding Shower: There will be a shower for Carmen Lehman this Saturday evening, September 20, at 7:00.  All ladies and girls are invited.  See your church mailbox for your invitation and additional information.

“Embracing Aging,” a DVD presentation offered by Mennonite Media, will be shown here next Sunday night at 7:00 PM.  This is an opportunity to consider ways to prepare for a season of life affecting all families.  How do we embrace aging either as those facing life’s late years or as those caring for older family members?

Ladies’ Bible Study: The study of Seeking Him: Experiencing the Joy of Personal Revival by Nancy Leigh DeMoss begins this Wednesday at 9:30 AM.  Workbooks are available in the ladies’ Sunday School classroom.

Mission Trip: Brady and Crystal Hochstetler leave September 26 for a two-week mission trip to Tibet under Global Tribes Outreach.  They will take hand-cranked radios with the Gospel message to nomads in the Himalayas.

Drama in Worship: Adults and youth interested in using drama to enrich worship are encouraged to contact Pat Hertzler, who is gathering ideas and inviting participation.

Wedding Invitation: Ivan and Joyce Lehman invite our church family to the wedding of their daughter Carmen and Jonathan Stone.  The marriage ceremony will take place at 2:00 PM at Sycamore Presbyterian Church, followed by a reception at Victory Tabernacle Church of God.  Please see the invitation and RSVP information posted in the secondary auditorium. If you are able to attend, please RSVP no later than September 27, 2008.

Skip and Carol Tobin, Eastern Mennonite Mission/Virginia Mennonite MIssion workers in Thailand, are coordinating the World Missions Institute in Delhi, India, which opens on September 18. Pray for them in their leadership roles and for the pastors from southern India who are being trained for church planting and outreach.
