evening January 7, approximately 40 ladies and guests from PMC gathered at
the Roslyn Center on River Road in Richmond for a “Time of Refreshing”
in the Lord. Beth Cloud and her daughters, Kristi and Rebecca,
graciously hosted us to a tea before our evening supper and first session
on “Refreshed in Worship”.
Following the evening session some of the “late nighters” gathered on
the veranda by a cozy fireplace for a pajama party of games and laughter
while others talked and prayed into the wee hours of the morning.
A beautiful day dawned as we gathered with anticipation to worship and be
“Refreshed in Prayer, Repentance and Healing”. God’s
spirit moved mightily in our midst as we became broken in repentance and
interceded in prayer for emotional, physical and spiritual healing of our
wounded, broken and contrite hearts.
We went home refreshed in our exhaustion.
